What's Happening around town!!!
The city will be street sweeping from May 7th-9th, please do not park on the streets between 8am-4pm those days so the sweeper is able to move up and down the streets easily. Any questions please call 304-665-2160.
SPRING CLEAN UP for Belmont in scheduled for Thursday May 16th, 2024, along with the regular weekly pick up. Items must be at curb side on Wednesday evening, May 15th. (pick up will begin approximately 5:00 A.M. Thursday morning.) If residents have any questions, please call City Hall at 304-665-2160
GUIDELINES:
Items must be at curb-side on WEDNESDAY EVENING, May 15th.2.
*Appliances containing Freon (or any refrigerant) must be removed by a certified technician and documentation attached before they can be removed from the curb.
*Bags, boxes or any other receptacle must weigh less than 50 lbs
* Tree limbs and brush must be bundled in 3 or 4 ft. lengths.
*Construction and demolition debris WILL NOT be accepted.
*No free-flowing liquids will be accepted (i.e., paint, oil, house-hold cleaners, etc.)
* No material that is listed as hazardous by definition of the WV Department of Natural Resources or the Environmental Protection Agency will be picked up
*Waste Management will have a truck parked at the City’s parking lot, accepting tires at 2.00 tire, from8:30 A.M. to 12:00 noon.
